C. Andrew Mayer (he/him) is a Minneapolis-based sound and projections designer who has worked extensively at theatres across the Twin Cities and elsewhere, including Everyman Theatre in Baltimore, ACT in San Francisco, Arkansas Rep in Little Rock, and 59E59 in NYC, where he won an Audelco Award for his design for Carlyle Brown’s Pure Confidence. He has designed operas for Minnesota Opera, Opera Philadelphia and Opera Colorado, where he recently remounted his world premiere design for Stephen King’s The Shining. He was a 2008 McKnight Theatre Artist Fellow, and in summer serves as the Producing Director for the Acadia Repertory Theatre on Mount Desert Island in Maine, where he was most delighted to direct William Inge’s Bus Stop!
