Amanda White is honored to return to Independence for the 2019 William Inge Theatre Festival, and for the opportunity to honor Octavio Solis. In addition to being an actor and director based in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Amanda is founding Artistic Director at DalekoArts, an ensemble theatre company in New Prague, MN. Amanda is a member of the Theatre performance faculty at Normandale Community College, and most recently, she served as the Managing Director at Mixed Blood Theatre Company in Minneapolis. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s Program in Arts Administration, Minnesota State University’s MFA in Theatre Performance, and the School at Steppenwolf at Steppenwolf Theatre Company.
