Donald Loftus (he/him) is an American playwright, librettist and lyricist based in New York City. He recently won the HRC Showcase Theatre’s’ W Keith Hedrick National Playwriting Award. His plays and musicals have been presented on stages across America and in the U.K. and in several ZOOM presentations during the pandemic. Donald serves on the Board of Directors of The Dramatist Guild Foundation and is a member of two actor/playwright groups: P.A.G.E.S. and DGPG, both based in New York City. He is thrilled that his play Joey was selected to participate in this year’s William Inge Theatre Festival.
