
Emma Horwitz is a writer from New York City. Recent productions include: Two Sisters Find a Box of Lesbian Erotica in the Woods, co-created with Bailey Williams, dir. by Tara Elliot, Exponential Festival, January 2024. Mary Gets Hers, dir. by Josiah Davis, the Playwrights Realm at MCC, October 2023 (New York Times Critics’ Pick). Her work in theater has been supported by The Playwrights Realm (2024 Page One Fellow, 2022 Writing Fellow), Clubbed Thumb (2023 Early Career Writers Group), New Georges (2023 Audrey Resident w/ Bailey Williams, Affiliated Artist), Williamstown Theater Festival (2020 Playwright-in-Residence), The Brick, Mercury Store, and others.
