Gary Mitchell (he/him) has been involved continuously with the Inge Festival since its inception 40 years ago. He taught theatre and English at I.C.C. for 31 years until his retirement in 2003. He is a founding member of the prestigious Creede Colorado Repertory Theatre, now heading into its 58th season. He acted and directed at CRT for five seasons. He has been active in theatre in this area (Independence, Coffeyville, Neodesha) for decades, appearing in 28 Neewollah musicals, and 12 productions at the college, including Inge Festival productions of three of Inge’s plays. He directed 31 productions at I.C.C., noted for their variety. Last year he read for two of the Playwright Workshop readings at the Inge Festival and last December appeared in Bob D’Haene’s I.C.C. production of OUR TOWN.
