J.M. Bock (she/her) is a midwest-based actor, director, stage manager and now Covid Safety Manager, who is thrilled to return to the William Inge Theatre Festival and to stage manage the new reading by Otis Guernsey Award winner Gina Femia. At previous Festivals, she has directed New Play Lab readings and stage managed readings by playwrights including Kara Lee Corthron, Jen Silverman, Samuel Hunter, Catherine Trieschmann and a world premier musical by Sheldon Harnick. J.M. is very excited to support the Inge Festival tribute to Lynn Nottage, and has previously assisted tributes to Paula Vogel, Marsha Norman, David Henry Hwang and Donald Margulies. As an actor, Bock has performed with St. Louis Repertory Theatre, New Jewish Theatre and Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, where she also directed the Kevin Kline Award winning TYA production Me and Richard III. After the Inge festival, J.M. will return to her role as Covid Safety Manager on the 2022 National Tours of South Pacific and An American in Paris.
