Jeff Dunne (he/him) is thrilled to be having his play, One’s Cup of Tea, included as part of the William Inge Theater Festival’s New Play Lab. Jeff began writing plays actively in 2017, and since that time roughly two thirds of his ~160 scripts have won awards in festivals and competitions, with nearly 200 productions across North America, Europe, and Asia. Jeff’s purpose in writing is to trick audiences into seeing things in a new light: to question the unquestioned assumptions regarding what is objective versus a consequence of our own expectations. Through both drama and comedy, he seeks to inspire people to take those few extra moments and explore their world from a new perspective – or even better, several new perspectives.
