Juliette Carrillo has been an Octavio fan girl for many years. She helped develop and directed the premiere production of Solis’ Lydia at Denver Theater Center, subsequently performed at Yale Repertory and Mark Taper Forum. Other productions include: Lethe for Cornerstone Theater Company and El Paso Blue for Summer Play Festival in New York. She has also directed numerous readings and workshops across the country, including Mother Road (Goodman, Carnival Latinx New Play Festival, OSF), and Se Llama Cristina (Perry Mansfield, Denver Theater Center). A graduate of the Yale School of Drama, Juliette has directed critically-acclaimed premiere and revival productions in theaters across the country including Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Mark Taper Forum, South Coast Repertory, Yale Repertory, Denver Theater Center and Seattle Repertory.
