Kate Frank

Kate Frank (She/Her) A native of San Diego, CA, Kate Frank is a Certified Teacher of the Alexander Technique (Alexander Training Institute –San Francisco).  She earned a BA in Theatre, (University of California, Los Angeles), and acted professionally at the San Diego Old Globe Theater and and The San Diego Rep.  Since moving to Fayetteville, AR in the mid-90’s, Kate earned an MFA in Directing, and now serves as an Instructor at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Department of Theater.  Ms. Frank is certified teacher of Yoga at the 200-hour level and a certified teacher of the Michael Chekhov Movement Technique (Great Lakes Chekhov Consortium).Of the many plays she has directed at the of A, her favorites include: Urinetown – The Musical, Company, The Cherry Orchard, The Clean House, Hay Fever, The Wolves, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Kate is looking forward to the newest chapter unfolding:  retirement in the Summer of 24!
