Kevin O’Callaghan (Actor)

Kevin O’Callaghan (he/him) is an award-winning actor, director, teacher, and producer. He founded and ran New York City’s Mad Dog Theatre Company, which developed new works and won the 2012 NY Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Original Short Play. Most recently he starred as Geroge Bailey in It’s A Wonderful Life: A Radio Play at Tipping Point Theatre, Happy in Flint Rep’s Death of a Salesman (starring Broadway’s Lewis J. Stadlen) which earned Kevin a Broadway World nomination for Best Supporting Actor and in PASS OVER at Theatre NOVA for which he was a Wilde Award Winner. NY credits: Tectonic Theatre Project, The Attic Theatre, The Drilling Company, Theatre East, and the NY International Fringe. Regional: Jonas in The Giver; Florizel in The Winter’s Tale; and Christy in The Devils’ Disciple directed by Tony, Oscar, and Emmy Award winner Tony Walton (Asolo Repertory Theatre). Other favorite roles include Zoo Story, Speed-The-Plow, Julius Caesar, and Murder by Poe. Film/TV: The Kids From Hunts and Resurrection Men. MFA in Acting: Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory. BA in Theatre Performance: Western Michigan University. Proud member of Actors’ Equity and SAG/AFTRA. Currently teaching acting at Lansing Community College and Mott College. Kevin lives in Flint, MI with his wife Nicole and their rescue pups, Eazy-E and Stitch.
