Dr. Marcel LaFlamme (he/him) is Co-Director, with Jackson Bryer, of the Scholars’ Conference at the 2022 William Inge Theater Festival. From 2008 to 2010, he served as director of the Independence Community College Library and curator of the William Inge Collection. Marcel completed his PhD in anthropology at Rice University in 2018 and currently holds the position of Open Research Manager at the Public Library of Science (PLOS), a scientific publisher. He is thrilled to be back in Independence for the first time in nine years.
