Executive Artistic Director of the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival where she has directed 23 plays. Her work directing new plays includes the off-off-Broadway production of Thanatos and assisting with the off-Broadway premiere of Aunt Chooch’s Birthday Party. Her work at Unicorn Theatre includes rolling world premieres of How to Use a Knife and Rising Water. At the Coterie Theatre she directed a regional premier of The Macbeth Project: In Spite of Thunder, and the U.S. premiere of After Juliet. Sidonie has also directed for KC Actors Theatre, Black Rep of KC, Fishtank Theatre and collaborated with KC Chorale, KC Ballet, KC Symphony, KC Rep, the KC Museum, and other partners. Next up, she’ll direct Love’s Labour’s Lost in Southmoreland Park for HASF.
