Brian Warren

Brian J. Warren (he/him) holds an Ed.D from the University of Houston and is an Associate Professor and the Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) specialist in the Theatre Department at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He just completed directing Shakespeare’s Coriolanus for last UTRGV’s Main Stage season and directed (pre COVID) The Witches by Roald Dahl for UTRGV’s TYA season. Warren has written 20 TYA plays that have enjoyed 200 different productions. Warren’s book Theatre for Young Audiences: 7 Original Plays with Commentary has recently been published by Kendall Hunt publishing. Warren has been an Inge fan for years and has presented at the Conference previously in 1998, 2003 and 2013!
