Elisabeth Ahrens (she/her) Though Elisabeth has lived and acted in New York City for the past 13 years, she was born and raised in Kansas and is delighted to return home for the William Inge Theater Festival’s 40th Season. She received her bachelor’s degree in theater from The University of Kansas and a Master’s Degree in Acting from the Florida State University Asolo Conservatory. Elisabeth has worked in theater, film, and commercial, but her favorite roles continue to be those on the stage. New York: Taming of the Shrew (Petruchio), Sir Patient Fancy (Wittmore), As You Like It (Rosalind) with the all-female classical troupe The Queens Company; The Sea Lady (The Sea Lady), You and I (Nancy White), Within the Law (Mary Turner) at Metropolitan Playhouse; The Winter’s Tale (Hermione), The Changeling (Isabella), Romeo & Juliet (Montague, Apothecary, Peter) with Rude Grooms; The Winter’s Tale (Hermione), Macbeth (Witch, Lady Macduff) with South Brooklyn Shakespeare Company; The Elephant Man (Mrs. Kendal) at The Gallery Players.
