Gay Glenn is a performer, teacher, and playwright from Topeka, KS. She is honored to be recognized by the 40th Annual William Inge Theatre Festival New Play Lab for IF YOU SEE PANIC IN MY EYES, her first one-act play. On stage she has performed at such notable theatres as the Penumbra, and Pillsbury House Theatres in MN; Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, The Artistic Home, Hypocrites, and Fleetwood Jordain Theatres, in Chicago; and the Imaginary Theatre Company in St. Louis. She toured nationally with THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY where she also played tenor sax onstage! She teaches stage and on-camera acting techniques, and taught theatre to elementary and college students in Chicago. Gay earned her MFA in Theatre Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
