Heaven Booker (she/her) is a senior from Des Moines, Iowa, studying Performing Arts with an emphasis in Musical Theatre, Acting, and Directing at Iowa State University. She is an ISU Theatre office Assistant as well. She has been in other productions at ISU, the first being The Food Monologues following Perform the Protest, Sometimes the Rain Sometimes the Sea, Facing Our Truth, Songs For A New World, and Corners Grove. She is also assistant directing the mainstage musical production of BABA this semester. She has directed two times before at ISU, her first time was the play Angie 4.0 for the 10 Minute Play Festival in Spring 2021, and the second was Black Prometheus earlier this semester for the One Act Play Festival. She has been a part of many other productions in the past such as Bring It On, 42nd Street, Shrek: the Musical, Hairspray, Blithe Spirit, and A Love Offering. She was also Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar. Heaven is moving to Dallas, Texas once she graduates, and she intends to follow her dreams to act professionally and to continue with promoting awareness of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the theater industry!
