Dr. Jackson R. Bryer (he/him) is Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Maryland, where he taught undergraduate and graduate courses for 41 years, He has attended the Inge Festival since its inception and has directed the Scholars Conference for many years. He is the editor or co-editor of books on American playwrights Lillian Hellman, Eugene O’Neill, Lanford Wilson, Thornton Wilder, August Wilson, Neil Simon, Sam Shepard, and Beth Henley.
