Laura Shatkus, Artistic Director of ArkansasStaged, is thrilled to return to The Inge Fest after appearing in a staged reading of Mary Sue Price’s Chat Rats: Oronogo in January. As the Artistic Director for ArkansasStaged, Laura directed Natural Shocks and Grounded, devised Merci, Maurer for Crystal Bridges, performed in Gertrude Stein Plays Paris, Picasso At The Lapine Agile and Love Song and Produced/Artistic Directed Field Notes From Mother Earth, Natural Shocks, White Rabbit Red Rabbit, Dear Elizabeth, Collected Stories, The Taming, Craving Gravy, Art, Venus In Fur, and Veils. Most recently, she directed Oliver Caplan’s Symposium and Tom Cipullo’s Lucy for Opera Fayetteville’s Opera In Bloom festival and Shakespeare in Love at UAFS. Chicago and Regional Theatre credits include work with TheatreSquared, Trike Theatre, Florida Repertory Theatre, The Hippodrome Theatre, North Dakota Shakespeare Theatre, The Gift Theatre, Collaboraction, Mary-Arrchie, Muse of Fire, and 16th Street Theatre among others.
